Software Untuk Membuat Bootable Flashdisk pada Windows - Biasanya flahsdisk yang baru kita beli, atau flahsdisk yang belum pernah dipakai untuk menginstal komputer memiliki format system Fat32, jadi agar flashdisk tersebut dapat dipakai maka kita harus mengubah formatnya menjadi NTFS dengan CMD ataupun software pihak ketiga.

1. Rufus

Rufus adalah aplikasi kecil yang dirancang untuk melakukan format dan membuat USB bootable pada media USB seperti pendrive, memory stick, dan lain-lainnya.
Rufus dapat anda gunakan pada saat:
- Kita ingin membuat bootable USB untuk instalasi sistem operasi Windows atau Linux.
- Bekerja pada komputer yang tidak memiliki sistem operasi.
- Melakukan upgrade firmware atau BIOS dari DOS.
- Menjalankan aplikasi low-level seperti proses low-level format.

Apa bila kita ingin menginstall System Operasi menggunakan Flashdisk maka flashdisk tersebut harus menjadi bootable atau NTFS
Cara Mudah Menjadikan atau Membuat Flashdisk Menjadi Bootable atau NTFS di Windows
- Klik Start > All programs > Accessories > lalu Command Prompt.
- Kemudian ketik Diskpart lalu enter
- kemudian ketik List disk. keumdian akan muncul beberapa daftar disk seperti gambar di bawah ini
- Lalu ketik Select Disk 1 (disini Sobat harus hati-hati jangan sampai salah pilih. jadi disini Sobat harus memilih disk 1, apa bila Sobat memilih Disk 0 maka semua data di komputer Sobar akan terhapus)
- Kemudian ketik clean lalu enter
- kemudian ketik creat partition primary lalu enter
- Ketik select partition 1 lalu enter
- Kemudian ketik active
- Lalu ktik format quick fs=NTFS lalu enter (tunggu sampai 100%)
- Kemudian ktik assign
- Yang terakhir ketik exit

2. WinSetUp From USB
This is also a tool for those who want to install multiple operating system on one USB device. WinSetup From USB let you install Windows 7, Windows vista, any Linux distribution using Ubuntu variant and any Linux distribution using SysLinux one single USB device. This is an exclusive function of Win Setup From USB and you must download it and give a try. When you prepare the USB drive using ‘WinSetup From USB’ you will be presented with the list of operating systems installed on the thumb drive and select the preferred operating system to boot from.
Though the interface is simple, non expert users may find it difficult to use.

3. Universal USB Installer
Though the name is Universal, this is a specialized tool for Linux and have a predefined list of most of the Linux distributions available.
