Cara Aktifkan Windows Defender pada Windows 8
Salam Sukses untuk semua pembaca Blog Otak Atik Windows. Pada kali ini saya akan membahas mengenai bagaimana cara mengaktifkan windows defender yang non-aktif pada windows 8. Sebenarnya ini pengalaman pribadi saya juga pada saat akan scan flashdisk tetapi windows defender tidak aktif, dengan keterangan “Windows defender has been turned off and isn’t monitoring your computer”.
Sempat kebingungan kenapa bisa non-aktif sendiri. Karena ketakutan akan virus yang menyerang data – data yang ada dikomputer, sehingga saya lebih baik mencari tahu dulu bagaimana cara mengaktifkan windows defender dan akhirnya saya menemukan caranya. Berikut ini adalah langkah – langkah bagaimana cara mengaktifkan windows defender pada windows 8.
1. Sebelumnya untuk mengecek Status Windows Defendernya maka pada Search Everywheredi tampilan start screen (atau tekan tombol Windows+S pada keyboard) kemudian ketikan “defender“ tanpa tanda petik. Apabila muncul “Windows Defender”, kemudian klik. Contohnya seperti gambar dibawah ini.
2. Maka akan muncul peringatan bahwa “Windows defender has been turned off and isn’t monitoring your computer”. Kemudian klik “Close”. Contohnya seperti gambar dibawah ini.
3. Setelah itu anda masuk ke menu search Everywhere pada tampilan start screen dan ketikan “Action”, apabila muncul menu “Action Center” maka klik setelah itu akan muncul menu Action Center. Contohnya seperti gambar dibawah ini.
4. Pada menu Action Center akan muncul tampilan Menu Security. Tekan tombol “Turn on now“.Contohnya seperti gambar dibawah ini.
5. Setelah Windows Defender Aktif dan status PC:Protected. Maka tinggal masuk ke menu update, klik tombol Update untuk memperbaharui database antivirus windowsnya. Contohnya seperti gambar dibawah ini.
6. Langkah selanjutnya adalah masuk menu Setting dan check list pada menu Turn on real-time protection (recommended), kemudian klik save changes. Contohnya seperti gambar dibawah ini.
7. Sekarang windows defender anda sudah aktif kembali dan bisa aktif real-time. Keamanan komputer anda pun sudah pulih.
