SmadAV 2015 provides decent antivirus protection, even if its scans take a while to finish up. It offers proactive protection in addition to some neat security features that protect your computer from onsite saboteurs. There arent many unturned stones in the world of antivirus software, though, and this program doesnt seem to find any of them.
In addition to scanning and actively protecting your computer from viruses, SmadAV 2015 can scan your registry for nasty information, but not generic errors like a true registry cleaner would. The programs installation process and license agreement seem to be written in Indonesian and you wont get a chance to change the language to English until youve completely installed the program. SmadAV 2015s layout organizes all of its features into easy-to-understand tabs, but its not very easy on the eyes. It doesnt help that theres a big ad for other developers programs taking up a lot of space. The programs virus scan took about 40 minutes to complete, which isnt terribly fast compared to competitors. It makes up for that lack of speed by giving you a process manager thats more detailed than Windows and letting you lock any of your hard drives.
This program isnt bad AV software, but its too late to the party to win users over the dozens of great options around it. It doesnt offer enough bonuses over the top downloads, either. SmadAV 2015 just wont wow enough people to compete with avast!, Avira, or the other great security software thats widely available and easier to use for English audiences.
